68 Days for World Cup Cricket

Cricket is a religion in south Asian subcontinent and Sachin Tendulkar is God. Sachin's greatness can be exemplified by Time magazine applauding Sachin's Double Hundred in the latest issue. World cup of cricket is the biggest event on the earth. This time this event is going to happen in South Asia where its being followed like no other place.

Cricket started prospering in India from the Day we won Cricket World cup in 1983. Cricket was well received in 1990s under leadership of Azharuddin/Sachin/Ganguly. Seeds sown by these greats started flourishing in early 2000's and have now become stars of cricket. No denying the fact young generation has come all prepared for the big show. We have got a great talent pool which can be exemplified with the latest with over New-Zealand.
The best part was recovery of dashing Yuvi. Pathan showed to be a great potential if used wisely. Gambhir has the best stats as captain no losses. First series as a captain and a clean sweep. This is truly an impeccable show by young generation team. Not to forget we had rested a lot of experience cricketers and sent a young team under the leadership of Gambhir.

Yuvi had been under injuries for a long time and was always debated if he will recover in time for world cup. Over all performance by Yuvi in the last match to claim Man of the Match has shut up all critics. He is a great potential and needs to be nurtured for the good or cricket and our team.

Its just 68 Days left to world cup and I am so proud India winning a clean sweep against NZ with a young team. I personally would be very happy to see India and Yuvi winning the world cup and fulfilling Sachin's dream of lifting world cup.
